Where elephants go to die.

Where elephants go to die.

I wonder why that phrase
keeps touring through my mind
I have no elephants at all
Neither live nor dead
The graveyard that I have in mind
For creatures never live
Is full of old computer parts
Hanging by a thread

Hanging by a thread to life they never had! Hmm some conflict of concepts here.
computer graveyard

The old Windows 95 machine was relegated to this corner some years ago and not discarded completely because its replacement couldn’t access some old data that might be needed for tax purposes. The one that ‘died’ last week, having been diagnosed as in a terminal condition some months ago, had to be resuscitated on a temporary basis in order to get the email server back on line whilst something on the new one was formatted, configured or whatever it needed.
As that means electricity flowing in that corner again and data coming down the wire it all starts to fuel fanciful ideas of robotic zombies coming back to artificial life, dancing around and causing havoc…
Perhaps I’d do better to stick with the elephants’ graveyard.

On a more serious note, anyone with access to the Writers Bureau blog can see my guest post that appeared there on Friday.

'Who am I?' is a question whose answer keeps evolving, that can be answered in many, many ways; that has no known answer at all. But there are some clues to be found: stocksharpsquires.wordpress.
