Never give up hope

begonias DSCN4435

I managed to keep some begonia tubers in the greenhouse over winter and potted them up in the Spring. Summer came and other people’s had flowers. My garden had flowers. But the pots in the greenhouse remained just leaves.
Eventually, as Summer drew to a close some buds appeared and when we had some warm September days I put them out. And Look!
Better late than never.
Maybe patience and clinging to what might seem forlorn hope is a lesson worth learning for other areas of life.
