  1. I try to keep pests away from my fruit trees, but now I feel sort of bad for depriving them of such sweet fruit.

  2. There were two more, fresh, pecks yesterday so I picked it and left to finish ripening on the kitchen windowsill. If there was a treeful, it might be different but when it’s the only one…
